This Ancient Remedy “Cures All Diseases” HIV, AIDS, Diabetes, Cancer, Stroke, STDs, Arthritis & More …
Recent animal studies have shown that black cumin seed is able to inhibit cancer cells and is very effective in its treatment. The seed oil and its extract named thymoquinone are very powerful in fighting liver cancer, melanoma, lymphoma, cervical cancer, pancreatic, breast, bone, stomach, prostate, colon, and brain cancer. There have been many advances made by scientists in human clinical tests, even with almost no risk of side effects. However, the black seed oil does not get enough recognition from the modern medicine.
The oil has been used in treating cancer for centuries
Two studies from Chinese and Saudi Arabian (2011) discovered that the oil has been used for centuries in the tradition medicine for treating cancer, confirming its anti-cancer properties. Not only cancer, but the oil can help with diabetes, cardiovascular issues, kidney problems, and many more. Scientists cannot completely understand the mechanism behind its anti-cancer properties. Some of the studies suggest that the thymoquinone has an antioxidant role and reinforces the immune system. One thing is certain and that is black cumin seed oil induces apoptosis in cancer cells and does not compromise the immunity. The oil also controls the Akt pathway, controlling the cell survival of all the body cells. Unfortunately, the modern medicine has recognized it only recently.
Black cumin seed in combination with honey works amazingly
The effects of this combination have been examined by Egyptian scientists on oxidative stress and cancer. They exposed 4 groups of rats to a strong carcinogen. Some of the groups were fed with black seeds or honey, and only one of the groups was given both. In 6 months the outcome showed that the groups that ate only black cumin seeds had 80% protection against oxidative stress and formation of cancer, while the group which was fed with both the ingredients had 100% of protection against oxidative stress, formation of cancer, and inflammatory responses.
The black seed oil is great for radiation treatment
A Turkish study from 2014 tried to find out how the oil assists people on radiation cancer treatment and found out that many of the patients experience severe side effects during and after the treatment. The scientists explored the effects of the oil on irradiated rats. They were first exposed to a single dose of gamma radiation. Then one group was given 1 gr. of the oil one hour before radiation and received a dose of 10 gr. for the following 10 days. The other group was given saline solution. The control group was not irradiated. The outcome showed that the black cumin seed oil reduces the oxidative stress marker, having potent antioxidant effects. The oil actually protected the rodents from the harmful radiation effects.
Another study from 2012 (India) explored the oil effects in mice exposed to gamma radiation. There was one group of normal, healthy mice, and another group of tumor bearing mice. Before exposed to radiation, the mice were given black seed extract (100 mg. per 1 kg. of body weight). The oil was able to protect the spleen, liver, brain, and intestines of the mice from the harmful radiation effects on both groups. They confirmed the protective effects of black cumin seed oil against the damage caused by radiation and biochemical alterations. This was due on the seed’s ability to hunt free radicals.
Black seeds interfere with uncontrolled cell growth and kill liver cancer cells
A study in India (2013) investigated the effects of thymoquinone in 2 groups of rats. One of them was given 0.01% thymoquinone water to drink, and the other w=one was given plain water. In 16 weeks, there has been a significant decrease in the size of tumor markers in the group which drank thymoquinone water. They did not develop new cancer nodules, too. In this way they proved the beneficial role of thymoquinone in treating liver cancer as well as its strong ability to prevent proliferation of cancer cells.
Black seed oil kills lung cells
According to Saudi Arabian scientists (2014) the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties of black seeds are well-known since long time ago. Their study investigated the anti-cancer activity of the oil and black seed extract used against human cancer cells in a lab. The cancer cells were exposed to 0.01 mg/ml of the oil and 1 mg/ml of the extract with the cells’ viability evaluated after that. Both the extract and the oil reduced the population of the living cancer cells and changed their cellular morphology. Moreover, the level of cell death increased with greater concentration of the oil or extract. The cells reduced in size and lost their typical appearance.
Black seed components in killing brain cancer cells
A study from 2013 from the Ohio State University concluded that there was a need for additional therapies in treating giloblastoma (the most aggressive malignant brain tumor). The study focused on thymoquinone because natural phytochemicals possess strong tumor killing abilities. They discovered that thymoquinone has selective cytotoxic properties for human cells. It kills cancer cells, leaving the healthy ones untouched. The explored its ability to selectively inhibit cancer cells of the brain and spinal cord to make clones of themselves, while not hampering the normal cell activity in the brain and spinal cord. The extract showed ability to inhibit autophagy genes in cancer cells. Autophagy actually enables continued growth of the cancer cells by keeping the cellular energy production. When inhibited, the production of energy suffers as well, leading to regression and extending the tumor survival of the affected organs. This actually shows that thymoquinone provides a new exciting strategy for treating cancer.
